WOW! This week was sooo long! We were running all around town the whole week! Here are some highlights!
Andre Oh man! We love Andre so much! He is doing great! He is continuing to learn and come closer to God and it is so cool to see the change in him! His faith is growing bit by bit every day and we are just waiting for the Spirit so work on him extra hard and help him make it to baptism! It's kind of frustrating sometimes that no matter what we do we can't help him that much like God can, so we have learned to put a lot of trust in Him, knowing that He will help Andre according to His will!
Exchanges pt. 1 On Wednesday I got to go with Sister Lind, a brand new missionary, on exchanges at IU! It was so fun! She is AMAZING! We clicked right away and just had a blast all day together! Sadly, some of our appointments fell through so we walked around on campus pretty much all day in the heat! We were dying but it was still fun (somehow!).
Exchanges pt. 2 On Thursday I got to go with Sister Lemmon in Terra Haute! We also had a great day! Our day was a lot more full than the day before haha. We did some service, taught an investigator, and met up with a recent convert. Wow!! SHE WAS AMAZING! Definitely my grace for the week! Her name is Taylor and shes 15. She got baptized a year ago and has recently distanced herself from the Gospel. But she has had a lot of changes in her life that have led her to want to come back! So she has been meeting with the sisters and has come to church the last couple weeks. We planned to teach her about God's plan of happiness. We introduced it to her and then asked her a question. She was really quiet so we wanted to get her more involved in the lesson. We asked another question and she just opened up! She started telling us about the hard times and how she needs God and doesn't know what to do and all this stuff! I was so amazed! She started crying and I didn't know what to do! So I just bore my testimony on the Savior and His Atonement. I didn't really know what I was saying, and I was even more amazed at how strong my testimony actually was! I didn't know that was in me! But apparently it was what she needed to hear because we had a great conversation about God's plan and love for her! It was an amazing experience:)
Zone Conference My last one!!!!!!!! AHHH!!! Weird! On Tuesday we got to hear from President Carlson! He is so great and I LOVE hearing from him! He always knows what to say to us! I am still learning sooo much every day even when I have such a short amount of time left! Its weird because it feels like I'm not leaving anytime soon! At the end, all of the departing missionaries got to share their testimony! There was SEVEN of us! Wow! But it was so great to be able to share:)
Busy Friday?? WOOWWWWWWWWW!!!!!!!! It was SO HOT today and we were SO BUSY! We didn't even have a second to rest! Lots of appointments one after the other and we also got to go to the Stake Youth Conference which was MISSIONARY THEMED!!! So fun! And to end the day we ordered our self some homemade cookies:)
This week I learned a lot about how much God loves us! He knows what we each need personally in our lives and gives it to us! But sometimes we are to blind to see that He does. I've learned that the closer I am to Him through prayer, scripture study, and constant repentance, it is easier to see His hand in my life! I am so grateful for my mission experience that has taught me about how important those things are and that they really are necessary in our lives! The Gospel of Jesus Christ has been His greatest gift to us and it has changed my life! I know it can change yours too, its just up to you to choose.
Love you all! Have an amazing week! I will see you soon! I'm looking forward to next week for my last email and testimony to yall!
