Hey there! Happy weekend! It's crazy to think that the mission is slowly coming to an end. It's a real bummer when little reminders keep popping up that I'm going home soon! But I still have 7 more weeks left and that is a lot! I'm excited to keep working all the way to the end!
I don't have much time but I'll give you a run down of some exciting things that happened this week!
Monday: We walked around campus for a really long time and it was really hot! No one talked to us that day but we did see some CRAZY college students climbing on the fountain in the middle of campus!
Tuesday: We had Zone Conference! It was SOOOOOOO good! There were so many inspired words from our leaders and other missionaries! We gave a short training on obedience and how we need to sacrifice what we have to the Lord. We shared the SUPER good story from the Book of Mormon! Alma chapter 24...go look it up:) We also were able to talk about some of our investigators and receive revelation for how we need to go about things/what to teach them next!
Wednesday: We taught ANDRE! Yay! He is doing so good! He is super excited about the Book of Mormon and is learning so much! We talked about some more of his concerns and it was so cool because as we were talking I had the impression to talk about a scripture from a Mormon Message video, and right as I was about to talk about it Sister Jones is flipping through her scriptures (without knowing I was about to share the scripture) and opens right to it because she was gonna talk about it too!!!!! Soo cool! And it was the perfect scripture for him!
Thursday: I was on exchanges with Sister Collins! (Shes one of the other sisters that is on IU campus with us) We had a BLAST! We walked around campus and did service at a food pantry!
Friday: I went on exchanges AGAIN with Sister Chavez! I was with her in her area, Martinsville (about 20 min north). It was SUCH a good day! We went to a senior rest home in the morning, and then visited a few people in the afternoon! We read scriptures with a lady names Barbra and she is AWESOME! She was baptized about a year ago and just got to go to the temple a few weeks ago! She is such an inspiring lady!
Welp! That's about it for me! Love you guys! Have a fun weekend!
Love, Sister Griffiths
